“Our Tribute Collection began with the Cities line, followed by Sands of Time. It honors thousand-year-old cities where one can still sense the echoes of the past, the same sounds, colors, textures, and flavors experienced by our ancestors. The bezel symbolizes the ramparts guarding these cities, with gates at twelve and six o’clock. The dial’s contrasting finishes evoke the roughness of ancient walls and the smoothness of cobblestones worn soft by centuries. Like these cities, the watch measures more than minutes and hours; it measures the passage of time itself through days and months.”
